Announcements: Congratulations to all the students who earned awards today.  Conferences are next week!
7th grade:

Math:   Rational Numbers - Converting fractional forms to decimal forms and identify terminating and repeating decimals. 

1. Chapter 3 pretest
2.  Begin Chapter 3 textbook 3.1
3. Turn in homework packet

Science:  
1. Finish Yosemite/Mono Lake final project in Blogger
2.  Finish notes and make a Blogger homepage and begin your posts.
3. Link your Yosemite page to your Homepage and share it with Mrs. Kelly


8th Grade:  
Math:  Expressions and Equations - Graph proportional relationships, interpret unit rate as the slope and compare two different proportional relationships represented in different ways. 

1.No Math today:  Garden 8:30- 9:00    Awards Assembly 9:00-10:00

Construct a scientific explanation based on evidence from rock strata for how the geologic time scale is used to organize Earth's 4.6-billion-year-old history. [Clarification Statement: Emphasis is on how analyses of rock formations and the fossils they contain are used to establish relative ages of major events in Earth’s history.
