I am so very excited to be a part of the North Fork Elementary community. This is my second year teaching at North Fork but I know that I am new to many of you.  You I am including a little bio on myself so that you can get to know me just a bit.

• My mother was born and raised in Yosemite National Park.  My grandfather was the doctor in Yosemite Valley for 35 years.  
• My father was the test manager for the Hubble Space Telescope Vehicle.  He worked for Lockheed for 30 years as an aeronautical engineer.
• As their child I seem to have had my feet on the ground and my head in the clouds.  All aspects of science fascinate me.
• This is my 18th  year teaching (16 of that has been with middle school children).
• I taught for 10 years in the Bay Area, 6 years in Mariposa and this will be my second year in Chawanakee Unified School District.
• My husband is a Social Studies teacher at Minarets.
• We have lived with our two children in North Fork for the past four years.
